Sacred Heart Academy, located in Mt. Pleasant Michigan, is seeking a 1/2 time Athletic Director and 1/2 time Dean of Students combined for the 2022-2023 school year.
Catechetical certification and participation in the VIRTUS program will be required of anyone who is hired.
The ideal applicant will be a candidate who has a genuine passion for working in a Catholic school.
Sacred Heart Academy is a DK- 12 grade school of approximately 480 students. Ours is a Catholic learning community where we ask students to pursue excellence in academics, the arts, and athletics for the greater glory of God.

Athletic Director Responsibilities (general)
- General Description – High School Athletic Director is to have the oversight of the athletic programs for all high school sports including supervision of all personnel in developing and maintaining a viable program.
- This position supervises high school coaches, parent volunteers, student athletes and high school sporting events.
- This position reports to the K-12 principal.
Dean of Students Responsibilities – (general)
- Attendance/Tardy Monitoring/Assign Detentions, Saturday School with Follow-Up
- Failing Grade Report
- Supervision During Lunch
- Assign Buses, Vans, and Bus Drivers for Field Trips
- Monitor and Follow-through with the Eligibility Process Including Communication with Students, Teachers, Parents, and Coaches
- Be available and help supervise extracurricular activities that do not conflict with athletic contests.
