Position Details
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Three years teacher experience preferred.
- Valid teaching certificate required.
- Qualifies or is able to meet the school administrator continuing education requirement.
- Experience as an administrator at the secondary school level preferred.
- Knowledge of Common Core and local curriculum guidelines for High School.
- Knowledge of current research and best instructional practices at the High School level.
- Demonstrated skill(s) to provide leadership in the development of a “climate” most conducive to enhancing high school student academic achievement.
- Understands high school scheduling, elective courses and the PBIS structure.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to organize, implement and monitor multiple programs.
- Knowledge of MiCIP school improvement processes, best practices in instruction and assessment and effective professional development programming.
- A proven ability to lead and work in teams.
- This is an in-person administrative position.
