What you’ll focus on:

  • Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Drive sales of agricultural equipment by showcasing the value and performance of our product lineup.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager and team to ensure a seamless customer experience from start to finish.
  • Maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used equipment.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings that facilitate organization-wide sales communication.
  • Stay informed on the latest equipment trends and technologies to offer expert advice by participating in training sessions, events, and industry conferences.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the department and dealership.

What we need from you:

  • Experience in agriculture or related industries.
  • A natural talent for building relationships, winning customer trust, and closing deals with confidence. 
  • Self-starter attitude with exceptional communication, organizational and time-management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
  • Capability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel between stores and customer locations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications (not required but beneficial):

  • Foundational knowledge of John Deere equipment.
  • Understanding of precision agricultural practices.
  • Proven track record of sales success, backed by measurable achievements and impressive results (e.g., exceeding sales quotas, driving revenue growth, or expanding market share).
