Michigan Neurology Associates & Pain Consultants is looing for a Operations Manager to join their growing team. The ideal Candidate will have the following essential duties and responsibilities:
- Manages clinic’s operations and directs and supervises all clinic activities through departmental supervisors and administrative support staff.
- Resolves operational problems and keeps lines of communication open with staff to ensure high productivity.
- Assists the Board of Directors with the development and implementation of strategic goals and programs, which actively support the strategic objectives and business plans.
- Enhances operational effectiveness, emphasizing cost containment without jeopardizing important innovation or quality of patient care.
- Oversees the business and financial affairs of the clinic and fiscal management including accounting, budgeting, internal controls and timely reporting.
- Works closely with the CFO in forecasting and preparing annual budget and financial statements.
- Oversees staff and physician recruitment, development, and performance evaluation of assigned employees.
- Delegates authority and responsibility to department supervisors.
- Develops improved management techniques and practices.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills necessary for problem resolution, conflict resolution and management with customers, staff members and physicians/physician extenders.
- Serves as a liaison and channel of communication between the board and the medical and administrative staff.
- Prepares special reports, statistics, data analysis related to operations as required by the President.
- Represents clinic in its relationships and interacts with regulatory agencies, insurance carriers, other healthcare organizations, third party payers, and other professional and community groups.
- Demonstrates and actively promotes an understanding and commitment to the mission of MNA through performing behaviors consistent with MNA values.
- Maintains compliance and a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulations, MNA’s programs, including the Standards of Conduct, Code of Ethics, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behaviors.
