What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assistant position at Micro Laboratories, Inc.?
Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect customer orders and items received and ensure all components were received intact
- Prepare items for calibration in compliance with the quality program, procedures, and customer/industry specifications
- Assist Calibration Technicians in the climate controlled laboratory environment
- Evaluate and inspect calibrated items to ensure the accuracy of completed orders
- Prepare orders for return to customers, securely package items, and prepare for shipping
- Assist team members with special projects including data entry, validation, organization, and efficiency, as needed
Requirements:
- Ability to follow written procedures and instructions
- Self-motivated, “team player” with collaborative demeanor and proactive approach
- Demonstrates an interest in learning about the industry via self- study of specifications and technical publications as well as on the job training about the industry. The right person will have the potential to grow with the company as the need arises.
- Proficient communication, writing, and organizing skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screening

Education: High-school or GED (candidates in progress are OK) or equivalent experience if applicable.
