Develop a scalable and effective technical strategy to support the rhythm of the business and organizational goals. Create and evaluate reports, dashboards, tabular models, and analytical insights to drive efficiency and business solutions. Articulate project goals and scope, translate business needs into technical terms, establish key performance indicators, and manage the lifecycle of dynamic projects. Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. Serve as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Manage project implementation, which may include resource allocation, progress tracking, change control, testing, documentation, and training of technical development and product planning teams. Telecommuting permitted less than 50%/week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Master’s or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering; IT; Technology Management; or a related field.• Experience: 36 months of software-related, centralized and coordinated program, product, or project management experience and/or experience in designing, developing and releasing software products or services.• Education or Experience in: PCI DSS, NIST 800-53, HIPAA Security, IRS Pub 1075 standards; Privacy regulations - GDPR, PIPEDA; DR/Business Continuity planning; Coordinating program development of computer software applications/systems/services from design through product; Product development; Risk Management; and SQL and/or T-SQL, SQL Server.

Pay Range and Benefits Information

The offered base pay range for this specific position (V4624696), in Redmond, WA, is $201,015 to $231,015 per year. Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. 

 

At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. Benefits/perks listed may vary depending on the nature of employment with Microsoft and the country work location. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others. U.S.-based employees also receive, per calendar year, up to 10 scheduled paid holidays, and up to 80 hours Holistic Health Time Off. Additionally, hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid vacation time, and salaried/exempt employees have Discretionary Time Off (DTO).
