Systems Administration Support TBMCS II

Overview

MicroTech is seeking a Theatre Battle Management Core Systems (TBMCS) Systems Administrator Level II for the Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) at Shaw AB, South Carolina. The CAOC team provides technical support, O&M, and system administration tasks and activities for chat suite server clients and applications.

Responsibilities

The candidate shall supplement government technical personnel to support the day-to-day management, operation, maintenance and administration of communications and IT systems and services in production, development, exercise and training environments. Preventive, remedial, and corrective maintenance shall be performed to ensure equipment and/or systems are in full operating condition as described by the equipment manufacturer without degradation of service. Equipment, regardless of whether it is providing service at any time, shall be maintained as if it were providing service.

• perform technical support, O&M, and system administration tasks
• install, patch, upgrade, tune, optimize and repair hardware and software (including operating systems, applications and databases) to maintain optimal performance.
• O&M of equipment and/or systems up to and including their demarcation points, and shall coordinate with, and assist external entities (other governmental agencies or contractors) in troubleshooting beyond their demarcation point during outages and troubleshooting, as required.

develop and submit a C2 Systems Administration Monthly Status Report

Qualifications

• 1 years performing administrative maintenance on TBMCS servers operating at an AOC, SPO, or an AFCENT reviewed, and CO approved equivalent organization AND DoDM 8140 IAT Level 2 (Security ) or higher; and
• Microsoft Certified Solution Associate (MCSA), or equivalent certification
• Active Secret Clearance required
