The Position
This Performance Excellence Advisor is responsible for leveraging process improvement expertise, including Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, to facilitate process improvement and transformational change initiatives to maximize value for our stakeholders and achieve enterprise-wide strategic objectives, resulting in more saved lives.
What You’ll Do
- Provide coaching and guidance to deliver breakthrough (double-digit) process improvements aligned with enterprise-wide strategic objectives.
- Partner with staff and leaders to prepare for, facilitate, and sustain improvement endeavors.
- Serve as a trusted partner for the leadership team regarding the application of lean principles to operations and strategy.
- Provide coaching and guidance to increase the problem-solving capabilities of staff and leaders.
- Perform data analysis to support the organization, ensuring improvement work is data-driven and aligns with strategic objectives.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree. Lean/Six Sigma certification and healthcare experience a plus.
- 5 years of experience as a Performance Improvement Analyst / Engineer / Consultant or equivalent, applying Lean/Six Sigma principles and tools while facilitating improvement events, daily improvement and strategy deployment.
- Knowledge of and experience applying Lean/Six Sigma tools, including A3 Thinking, process mapping, waste identification, root cause analysis, visual management, standard work, demand / takt time / capacity analysis and load leveling.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring and use of facilitation skills.
