Every effort is made to deliver World-Class Customer Service in delivering government-approved lines of Durable Medical Equipment, Portable and Stationary Oxygen Concentrator and Supplies to Veteran Affairs Hospitals and Clinics throughout the continental United States and its territories.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an individual who can meet the demands of a fast-paced Intake Representative. Our Intake Representative wants to deliver World-Class Service while showing compassion to our veterans. This individual must value honor and respect for our veterans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process high call volume – inbound and outbound calls to and from patients, family members, or medical providers.
- Processing order entries, up to 100 per day.
- Coordinate with various branches for remote printing.
- Must be flexible between duties and on-the-job tasks.
- Educate patients/caregivers about oxygen, equipment, or hospital requirements/policies.
- Document patient records accordingly (e.g., missed appointments, prescription changes, perform patient audits, research patient files, or personal information changes.) to maintain file integrity.
- Assisting other departments with patient prescription and routing corrections.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma, GED or higher education
- Brightree, Apachetta, or other windows based medical software preferred.
- MS Office Suite- Intermediate
- Advance phone and communication skills
- Multitasking is essential, you must be able to communicate effectively while document processes.
- Resolve issues with VA or a similar entity as needed.
- Effectively uses time management skills

- Experience in a medical office, DME, or hospital
- Proficient written and oral communication
