Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP}, Full Time
Position Summary:
- The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMNNP) will provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and therapy services.
- The PMHNP will work in collaboration with virtual assistants, office staff, behavioral technicians, nurses, and nurse practitioners to coordinate client care, assist with insurance pre-authorization, and general caseload management.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Required Education:
- Master's or Doctorate Degree in Nursing
- Focus on psychiatric
Minimum Required Experience:
- At least 1 year providing direct client care to persons receiving treatment for psychiatric
Licenses/Certifications:
- Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- An unrestricted and current license to practice as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) in the state of practice.
- Must have a valid DEA number and unrestricted DEA license in the state of
- Must be able to prescribe controlled substances in practicing states.
- Must be registered with the state prescription drug monitoring
- No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in any health care programs
