What are the responsibilities and job description for the One-stop Navigator position at Mid-Cumberland Human Resource Agency?
This individual is responsible for maintaining Welcome Function and resource room activities including directing customers and assisting American Job Center customers with job searches, resume assistance, and other reemployment services. This position works under the direction of the One-Stop Operator and is responsible for performing customer service duties for a multi-program office. This position will assist customers both on the phone and in person by assessing their needs and providing assistance as needed in the Resource Room and Welcome Function. In addition to this, the One-Stop Navigator will promote job openings for local businesses and assist area employers in finding quality employees.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Diploma or equivalency
· Moderate to advanced computer literacy skills
· Ability to instruct customers in using computers, fax machines, copiers and other technology
· Desire to make a positive impact in the workforce development of Northern Middle Tennessee
· Excellence in computer software applications including word processing systems and the ability to learn new computer application systems
· Individuals that desire to work with diverse populations and low-income populations are preferred
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Candidates will be interviewed by Agency and Program Management and the most qualified applicant will be selected. MCHRA is an E.O.E. employer.
