What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Sales Associate position at Mid Minnesota Entertainment?
The Dead End Hayride is seeking to hire motivated Apparel Sales personnel to join our team. We are committed to providing a safe, fun and entertaining Fall Event for our employees and attendees. The ideal candidate is detail oriented and can work well in fast paced environments. Solid customer service experience is a must for this role.
Duties include the following, but are not limited to:
- Greeting customers in a friendly manner as they approach the retail space.
- Restocking merchandising items at the beginning and end of shift, and as needed throughout their shift.
- Monitoring and ensuring highest level of customer service.
- Engaging with guests, offer knowledge about items and suggestions to help them make decisions.
- Suggesting add on items to purchase and be comfortable with up sales.
- Ensures that work areas are clean and that all items are properly stored and covered.
- Able to work/learn POS register and count change appropriately.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Enjoy customer facing job positions.
- Be welcoming, positive, and engage customers.
- Experience working in merchandising or sales is a PLUS.

Compensation:
- Hourly pay ranging from $12.25 to $15.50
Employment Length:
- Approximately 1.5 months
Typical Schedule:
- Start time: 5:30-6:30 pm
- Weekly hours: 10-40 hours (subject to variation)
