What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crisis Stabilization and Detox Therapist position at Mid-Plains Center for Behavioral Healthcare Services, Inc.?
Mid-Plains Center for Behavioral Healthcare Services is currently seeking a licensed or provisionally licensed therapist to work in our Crisis Stabilization Unit. This unit is a 12 bed, mental health stabilization and medically assisted detox unit, and is the only unit of its kind in the state.
Therapist will work a 40 hour work week, with daytime hours from 8 am to 5 pm.
Therapist will perform risk assessments on triage consumers, and provide individual and group therapy sessions daily. Therapist should have knowledge of clinical risk assessments, relapse prevention plans, safety plans, and local resources. This position requires the individual to assess, interpret, and document results of the consumer in triage. This individual must possess time management skills to provide a wide array of services in this fast paced environment. The therapist will develop and assist consumers in meeting short term treatment goals and collaborate with team members to determine aftercare treatment options.

Requirements:
Licensure as a Provisional Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor (PLADC) or Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor (LADC).
