Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced hands on Utility Foreman for a central PA Excavation Company. Preferred candidate will have 3-5 years experience in construction of sanitary / storm sewer and water line projects, be qualified to operate heavy equipment, set grade, operate a pipe laser and lead a crew. Work with Project Managers to ensure budgeted costs, job schedule and quality of work is maintained. Applicant must have proven experience in managing projects from the pre-construction meeting until the last piece of equipment leaves the jobsite. Construction surveying is an added plus. Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from the pre-construction meeting until the last piece of equipment leaves the jobsite.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of construction sites, ensuring all materials and equipment are organized and accessible.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and workflow on-site.
- Operate heavy equipment, set grades, and lead a crew.

- Strong skills in construction and blueprint reading.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
