Responsibilities:
- Operate/monitor machines in a manufacturing environment
- Set up machines according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders
- Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments to assemble and fabricate products
- Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices
- Ensure machines are running smoothly and make adjustments as needed
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during production
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing setting preferred
- Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Familiarity with hand tools and precision measuring instruments
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
