What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitutes position at Mid-West New Mexico Community Action Program?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Classroom:
1. Will help monitor children.
2. Will be helping children with any practice skills.
3. Attention will be given to children at all times.
4. Will monitor children during outdoor activities, along with Center Staff.
5. Will participate in staff training as needed and assigned.
Kitchen:
1. Help prepare meals.
2. Assist in cleaning kitchen and equipment.
3. Abide by all sanitation procedures. and demonstrate good personal hygiene.
4. Assist with storing and labeling of food.
5. Deliver meals to the classrooms as needed.
Office:
1. Perform general secretarial and clerical duties, to include copying, filing, typing memos, minutes, etc., as assigned.
2. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Must have High School diploma or equivalent
- Citizen of the United States or have legal papers to work in the United States.
- 18 years of age or older.
· Submit to a Federal Bureau of Investigation Criminal history records, including fingerprints.
· Must have a Physical and TB Test screener and submit a copy to the Human Resources Department.
· Have a valid New Mexico State Driver’s License, proof of insurance on automobile and provide the agency with a MVD record.
· Must speak English, Bilingual preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
