ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Manages and ensures proper loading and organizing of the work truck before leaving the company, ensuring everything needed is on the truck
- Manages and ensures proper unloading of the work truck once on the jobsite
- Manages and assists the crew with preparing the jobsite
- Manages and assists crew with things such as demolition, carrying of products/tools/equipment
- Operates a wide variety of hand and power tools
- Performs and ensures high quality installations, helping to move job progress to an on-time completion
- Provides direction to the crew and Co-Foreman
- Takes care of the company’s products, tools, and equipment
- Cleans jobsite at the end of the day, ensuring trash is properly disposed of and materials or equipment are properly stored
- Provides a remarkable experience for homeowners and crew
- Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of construction or related trades required
- Management experience in construction or related field
- Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions
- Ability to remain flexible as specific job tasks may change
- Ability to work with a variety of personalities
- Has a solid understanding and skills in operating hand tools and power tools
- Ability to operate a phone/apps/tablet
- Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and ability to drive for the company required
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good time management skills
- Ambitious and results-oriented
- Team player
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED required; prior construction management experience required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and necessary stamina to complete jobs
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds frequently
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
- Must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day and climb multiple sets of stairs while carrying materials and products weighing between 40 and 70 pounds
- Must be able to work some Saturdays when needed
- Must be able to travel out of town and overnight when needed
- Ability to move about and move to/from and work from the floor level or in crawl spaces
