Requirements
- Chauffeur License or Class A CDL would be helpful but not required
- Must have physical strength and endurance
- Must be able to read and communicate both written and verbally
- Load and unload heavy materials, tools, and equipment onto the company truck for each job
- Unload and clean the truck upon return to the company
- Assist coworkers in construction installation
- Have basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools and construction
- Ability to work independently and self-sufficiently within a team
- Must have problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Must be organized
- Ability to take direction and ability to be coached
- A positive attitude and an eagerness to learn
- Provide a remarkable experience to our customers
Physical Demands
The Construction Crew Member must be able to handle repetitive movement such as but not limited to bending, standing, twisting, kneeling, pushing and carrying tools or objects. The Construction Crew Member will lift/carry heavy objects frequently and will perform strenuous physical labor within this role. Must have good dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
What We Need for this Role
- Construction experience is preferable, but not required
- A valid Iowa or Illinois driver’s license and a safe driving record is a must
- Ability to travel and stay out of town over night throughout the week
- Unrestricted lifting ability
- Ability to work overtime if needed
- A dependable individual with a positive attitude that strives for customer satisfaction
