Preschool Teacher - Waldoboro

Our Early Head Start (EHS) Infant Toddler program uses the Creative Curriculum for Infants and Toddlers, and Teaching Strategies Gold (TSG) Assessment System. Orientation and training are provided in curriculum and all other aspects of infant and toddler programming.

Responsibilities: Early Head Start Teachers are responsible for planning and implementing the early childhood curriculum in classrooms, conducting child assessments, meeting with families, encouraging parent engagement in their children’s education, and working with the center team to ensure a smooth flow of daily activities and events. All teaching staff is directly supervised by a Regional Manager.

Qualifications: An Associate or Bachelor degree in early childhood education or a closely related field is required. An Infant Toddler Credential or Child Development Associates may be considered.
