Microbiology Technical Assistant
Hours: Part-Time/8 Hours
Shift Details: Saturday and Sunday, every other weekend, 1:00pm - 9:30pm

Position Summary:
The Specimen Processor Technical Assistant provides technical and clerical support to the laboratory staff.
- Receives and prepares specimens for examination and testing (waived and limited moderate testing) and basic urinalysis
- Performs maintenance and quality control procedures, primarily in the department of Microbiology
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a microbiology laboratory is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology is strongly preferred
