Pharmacy Technician
Hours: Full-Time/40 hours
Shift Details: Primarily days, 1st shift with occasional coverage on 2nd shift

Position Summary:
The Pharmacy Technician performs various functions on a rotational basis relating to the preparation and dispensing of pharmaceuticals, under the supervision of the pharmacist, to assist in attaining the goals of the Pharmacy Department
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent, required
- Must be a graduate of a ASHP Accredited Technician Program and/or hold a National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Registered or eligible for registration in the State of CT as a Pharmacy Technician
- Experience with computers, mathematical calculations, medication nomenclature
- Experience with aseptic technique for IV admixtures is required
- An Associate’s Degree in Pharmacy Technologist or sciences, is preferred
