Office Assistant Roles
Job Summary
Responsible for performing clerical and administrative duties in an office setting. Assists executive assistant and secretaries by sorting mail, filing, answering phones, greeting clients, scheduling meeting and restocking supplies.
Organization Relationship:
Reports to the Manager or Administrator
Responsibilities:
- Maintain files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible
- Answer the phone to take messages or redirect calls to appropriate colleagues
- Utilize office appliances such as photocopier, printer etc. and computer for word processing, spreadsheet creation etc.
- Undertaking basic bookkeeping tasks and issue invoices, checks etc.
- Assist in office management and organization procedures
- Timesheets audits and making sure they are billed
- Communication/customer service phone calls with patience
- Sending and following up with referrals
- Perform other office duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Proven experience as Office Assistant or other clerical position
- Familiarity with office procedure and basic accounting principles
- Working knowledge of office devices and processes
- Very good knowledge of office devices and processes
- Excellent communication skills
- Very good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Speaks fluent English also Spanish will be a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
