Shift Coordinator (MT/MLS) - ASCP
- Hours: Full-Time/ 40 Hours
- Shift Details: Evenings, 2nd Shift; rotating weekends and holidays
- Sign-on Bonus: up to $5,000.00
Position Summary:
The Shift Coordinator (MT or MLS ) position is responsible for scheduling staff, supporting training and continuing education, competency assessment, providing leadership guidance for laboratory staff and partnering with hospital clinical staff in problem resolution.
This position requires generalist medical technology bench duties in the Core Laboratory in addition to supporting departmental coordinators in administrative duties such as review of quality control and maintenance, regulatory agency compliance preparation, policy review, instrument validation and proficiency testing monitoring.
The role serves as a remote resource for offsite system laboratories.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with MT (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP) certification
Previous laboratory experience
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years’ experience working in a laboratory
