The role of the Marketing & Design Specialist at Midland Garage Door is a fully in-office position. We are looking for a dedicated professional to work on-site at our West Fargo office, where you will be closely integrated with our team.
Midland Garage Door is seeking a creative Graphic Designer/Marketing Specialist with experience in both print and electronic media. We’re looking for someone who can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts and other designs. The successful candidate should understand how marketing works in a variety of settings, to support our customers. This person will also assist with campaign development, executing marketing strategies, and analyzing the effectiveness of each campaign. The successful candidate will play an integral role in creating effective strategies that will promote long-term growth.
Essential Duties:
- Create visual elements for marketing materials, websites and other media
- Consult with customers and sales team to create cohesive designs that reflect our brand, our values, and our message
- Help develop marketing strategies for projects, including company websites and social media
- Work closely with the sales team on program development and implementation
- Help gather and analyze data to determine campaign efficiency
- Help develop and communicate marketing plans, campaign results and project recommendations to the management team
- Handle the distribution and shipping of marketing materials and door samples to branches, territory managers, and customers, ensuring timely delivery and proper inventory management.
- Assist in keeping track of inventory related to marketing materials and organizing the Sales & Marketing room to ensure efficient storage and accessibility of materials.
- Coordinate and distribute color chip and additional product samples
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.
- Extensive experience with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, specifically with mockups and multimedia presentation
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office programs
- Adaptive design eye and skill
- Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills

- Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and customers.

High School or GED required, and 4 years in professional commercial design preferably with a marketing or creative agency, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties as listed above.
