Responsibilities
Midwest Center for Youth and Families (a subsidiary of UHS) is a fully accredited, 74-bed private, residential treatment facility located in Valparaiso and Kouts, IN. We offer full-immersion Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program for children and adolescents 10 - 18 who struggle with emotional, behavioral and mental health challenges. Join us as we provide high-quality care to patients and their families from across the country.

The Teacher is an essential member of the education team, is responsible for maintaining a professional classroom setting. The Teacher will maintain accurate records and interact professionally with staff and patients daily. Reports to the Director of Education.
Midwest Center is looking to hire a full-time Teacher at our Kouts, Indiana campus. Work hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm.

Qualifications:
Minimum Skills, Experience, Licensure, & Educational Requirements

• A valid Indiana Teacher’s License required or eligible.
• A Bachelor’s degree required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license, good driving record, and physical ability to safely operate motor vehicles is needed.
