Role Title: Regional Industrial Sales Team Leader
Purpose –
The Regional Industrial Sales Team Leader is responsible for driving business growth, expanding market presence, and ensuring that Midwest has strong and enduring relationships at multiple organizational levels at industrial sales customers to create long-term sales partnerships. Will present as the team lead in our sales organization in the Northern and Midwest US to accomplish annual revenue and profit goals.
Key Accountabilities:
KRA 1: Manage Customer Relationships
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, and industry stakeholders.
· Develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
· Continuously improve sales processes for pricing, lead generation and others
KRA2: Sales Growth and Market Expansion
· Conduct market research to identify new customers and market segments.
· Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base in accordance with the Midwest strategy deployment process
· Meet and exceed sales targets and segment margin goals.
KRA3: Sales Pipeline and Business Development
· Individually and in collaboration with the Managed Services North sales team, build a sales pipeline that supports sustainable growth consistent with the Midwest strategy deployment process.
· Manage new business development targets.
· Develop and maintain a network of industry professionals and develop a high-level prospecting funnel.
· Research, analyze and report on emerging trends and competitive activity.
KRA 4: Sales Coordination and Collaboration with internal teams
· Provide timely and accurate customer/product updates in the CRM system, including initial annual forecast and monthly modifications.
· Serve on operational cluster calls to help facilitate daily operational challenges.
· Work collaboratively with other functions to meet the needs of Industrial customers.
· Participate in regular team meetings to share insights, discuss strategies, and coordinate efforts to achieve overall business objectives.
KRA 5: Lead the Northern and Midwestern sales team
· Create a positive and engaged sales team by utilizing Midwest People and Management System principles and behaviors.
· Develop the sales team by improving their professional skillset to further their career potential in conjunction with their personal goals and Midwest opportunities.
