What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Shift Cleaning position at Midwest Janitorial Service, Inc.?
Midwest Janitorial Service is looking to hire a full-time first-shift cleaning position.
The position is Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. This position takes place in an industrial facility and is cleaning entrances, lockerroom, restrooms and break areas.
A qualified candidate must be self-motivated and responsible for arriving at the facility at the scheduled time and working the duration of the shift. Exceptional customer service is required as work is performed around the client at all times.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- General cleaning, disinfecting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, window cleaning, restroom cleaning, dusting, and trash removal.
- Must be able to bend, twist, squat, lift 20 lbs. – 30 lbs. and be on feet the entire shift.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from facilities
- Must pass a background check.
- Must adhere to the company’s safety policies to create a safe work environment for everyone.
- Must have exceptional customer service skills as work performed may be performed around clients.

Wage varies by facility assigned. Facilities that offer a Performance/Attendance Bonus require a highly detailed, reliable person. Clients paying for this incentive expect the highest level of service.
