What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Support Specialist position at Midwest Landscape?
Overview
We are seeking a an individual to fill an open, seasonal, landscape technician position.
Job Details:
- 30 - 40 hours per week.
- Position begins March 2026 and will end October 2026.
- Labor intensive position.
- No weekends or nights, unless preferred.
- If nights and weekends are preferred, a schedule can be created for the right candidate.
- If during school hours are preferred, a schedule can be created for the right candidate.
- Flexible schedule.
Duties
- Work at the direction of the Landscape Project Manager.
- Load and unload nursery stock.
- Stage green-goods for landscape crews.
- Maintain inventory.
- Labor - lifting, moving, watering, potting, pruning, tagging etc.
- Maintenance - maintaining signage in landscape areas.
- Maintain inventory paperwork.
- All other landscape related tasks as required.
Additional Duties for Qualified Candidate:
- Drive box truck to pick up greengoods - must have clean driving history.
- Unload trucks using machinery.
- Move plant stock using machinery.
Requirements
- Drivers license, OR reliable transport required.
- Able to lift and move plant stock repetitively.
- Able to work unsupervised once training completed.
- Able to complete tasks within given time-frames.
- Able to work in heat, and inclement weather.
- Able to follow verbal and written directions.
