What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Coordinator Orthopedic Practice position at Midwest Orthopaedic Consultants?

Are you interested in using your leadership skills to advance your career in healthcare? Do you tend to "see the big picture?" Midwest Orthopaedic Consultants of Illinois is looking to hire a Clinical Coordinator to join our team and help direct us in continuing our tradition of excellence in orthopedic care.

ABOUT MIDWEST ORTHOPAEDIC CONSULTANTS

For over 25 years, Midwest Orthopaedic Consultants has been concerned with improving patient care, streamlining the delivery of care, and maximizing outcomes for our patients! We specialize in nonsurgical and surgical treatments for any type of orthopedic and musculoskeletal problem or injury out of our Illinois clinics in Orland Park and Oak Lawn. Over time, we have earned a solid reputation for high-quality care.

Our employees play an essential role in maintaining that reputation, and we work hard to ensure their well-being. We offer a 401k plan, health, dental, vision, and other great benefits. We even help subsidize membership fees for Lifetime Fitness! We are proud of our friendly, supportive work environment.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS THE DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL OPERATIONS

As the Clinical Coordinator, you will use your leadership and organizational skills to keep our different team members and departments working smoothly together with each other. You work to compose strategic plans in order to best perform our mission and goals. Each team member is uniquely skilled, and each department has its own focus. But under your expert direction, the result is much greater than any individual part.

This role functions as an assistant to our Clinical Director and no two days will be the same. You will provide leadership and direction to our clinical staff and inspire them to excel in customer service and patient-focused care at all levels. You give guidance and support to ensure that everyone is motivated to play their part in improving patient care. While you are positive and supportive, you recognize that there is always room for improvement. You listen to our patients and are always looking for ways to increase their satisfaction.

Part of what you do as a leader is an art, and part of it is analytical. You collect data in order to identify trends and make recommendations for change as needed. You are always evaluating processes and finding ways to be more efficient without losing quality. You are innovative in your thinking and never use "that's the way we've always done it" as an excuse. Your style of performance fosters teamwork, respect, cooperation, accountability, and trust. You believe in our clinic's mission and want the very best outcome for our patients.
