Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Business Analyst to join our team in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will assist in gathering business requirements, performing data analysis, and supporting the development and implementation of solutions that meet business needs. Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements

• Assist in translating business needs into functional specifications

• Conduct data analysis and generate reports using Excel, SQL, or BI tools

• Participate in meetings, requirement sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT)

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and project managers

• Support project documentation such as business process flows, user stories, and change requests

• Monitor project progress and update stakeholders as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

• Basic knowledge of SQL or data querying (preferred)

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies (a plus)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship or coursework related to business analysis or data analytics

• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools

• Interest or experience in financial services or technology domains
