What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Administrator position at Mike Rovner Construction, Inc.?

Established, full-service apartment renovation General Contractor, is seeking a full time Construction Administrator with Project Coordination capabilities.

This position will serve as the lead Construction Administrator for a large project while providing administrative support to the Project Managers overseeing the project.

The right candidate will have solid office and computer program (Excel, Outlook, Word) experience; be willing to learn, be a great problem solver, anticipates needs, is flexible and thrives in a constantly changing environment. We are looking for someone with the following experience and capabilities:

- Schedule all temp utilities at start of job/ dumpsters, storage units with office

- Manage Change Order Requests to Owners and to subcontractors.

- Review job related invoices for accuracy to ensure billing rates are correct and documents are in process/executed as required.

- Maintain and review RFI, Change Order Request and Change Order logs to ensure outstanding items are followed up on promptly.

- Provides administrative support to Project Managers and Jobsite Superintendents

- Providing administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on the Project Manager’s behalf

- Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records

- Performing minor accounting duties

- Organizing meetings, sending reminders, note taking, and distributing meeting minutes and related action items, organizing catering when necessary.

- Exhibit professionalism when working directly with clients, subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, designers, and suppliers.

- Ensure milestones are identified, tracked, and communicated to all team members.

- Provide timely and continual communication to clients and internal management.

Construction experience/knowledge required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
