Using a consultative sales approach, the National Account Manager will perform several key activities to develop relationships and establish a strategy to expand market share, including:
- Proactively reaching out to large marquee accounts through cold calls, networking, and other prospecting methods to drive business growth.
- Conducting strategic meetings to identify and meet customers’ needs.
- Determining inventory allocations for availability and timely delivery.
- Collaborating closely with local branch teams to ensure seamless execution of fulfillment plans.
- Generating and analyzing reports to optimize our sales pipeline management.

Qualifications:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation/logistics or related industries (8 years preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of sales experience.
- Demonstrated track record in new business development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to present a positive and professional demeanor.
- Comfortable engaging with customers in face-to-face interactions.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing workflows and business needs.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (Marketing, Finance, Management, etc.), preferred or equivalent work experience in the transportation industry
Travel Requirements:
- 75% domestic travel required
- Territory covers states: Missouri, Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin
