Job Summary:
The Corporate Trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs that enhance the knowledge, skills, and performance of employees across all departments of our tax resolution firm. This role is critical to onboarding new hires, upskilling staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance in client interactions with the IRS and state agencies.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs related to: Tax resolution services (Offer in Compromise, Installment Agreements, Currently Not Collectible, etc.)
- IRS procedures, forms, and communication protocols (2848, 8821, CAF, transcript retrieval, etc.)
- Client onboarding, case management systems, and CRM usage
- Sales and client communication techniques
- Regulatory, ethical, and compliance standards in tax representation
- Facilitate onboarding training for new employees and provide ongoing education for existing staff
- Create and maintain training materials including manuals, presentations, e-learning modules, SOPs, and job aids
- Collaborate with department heads (Sales, Case Management, Compliance, Legal) to identify training needs and performance gaps
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, tax laws, and IRS updates relevant to tax resolution services
- Conduct refresher courses, compliance trainings, and soft skills workshops (communication, negotiation, customer service)
- Monitor certification and licensing deadlines for Enrolled Agents or other staff, coordinating CE and licensing-related training as needed
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience as a Corporate Trainer, preferably in a financial services or tax resolution environment
- Strong knowledge of IRS processes and tax resolution programs (preferred)
- Experience designing curriculum and delivering training in both live and virtual environments
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in training tools, e-learning software, and MS Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in a tax resolution company
- Understanding of Enrolled Agent, CPA, or tax law principles
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., IRSLogics, Salesforce, Tax Help Software, or Canopy)
- Instructional design certification or training credentials (ATD, CPTD, etc.)
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

Salary : $70,000 - $75,000
