POSITION SUMMARY  

Prepare jobs for shipment, arrange for transportation and ensure shipment arrival per customer requirements.

Essential Functions Statement(s)  

• Make cartons, pack cartons, and apply carton labels, as necessary.  

• Band and wrap skids, as necessary.  

• Prepare customer shipments for delivery, prepare paperwork for shipments, call truck line for pick up and mark board for proof of communication with truck line, as applicable.  

• Perform storage function and inventory counts of finished product.  

• Perform Finished Inventory Report on computer.  

• Pull finished products, per release process.  

• Deliver completed job tickets to office, daily.  

• Pick samples for each job, as per Job Ticket, as well as address quality concerns with Supervisor.

SKILLS & ABILITIES 

Education 

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) 

Experience 

No prior experience necessary  

Computer Skills 

Must have basic computer skills or the ability to learn basic skills, including the ability to type on a keyboard, use a mouse, enter passwords, open and close programs, and start and shut-down a computer.  

Other Requirements 

Must fulfill the following training and testing requirements: Motorized Hand Truck Operation; Power Industrial Truck Training; Narrow Aisle Reach Truck Operation Quality System Orientation; Right-to-Know (Initial and Refresher); Safety in the Workplace.

Salary : $31,100 - $39,400
