What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Childhood Paraprofessional for Early and Extended Learning Program position at Millard Public Schools?
Experienced paraprofessionals to work 5 hours per week, Tuesday and Thursday, 6:00-8:30 p.m. The program meets at Andersen Middle School and the children are three years old to 3rd grade.
The Early and Extended Learning Program is offered two evenings per week while the parents of the students attend adult ESL courses offered by Metro Community College. The paraprofessionals will guide and interact with children as they are playing games, reading books, working with manipulatives, learning new vocabulary, and learning English. Staff will serve snacks and supervise restroom breaks.
The program begins on Tuesday, September 13th
