Miller Hill Subaru is hiring for a Business Development Representative!
The primary job of a BDC Rep is to contact customers via telephone and email. Your conversation or email will consist of scheduling service appointments, providing product knowledge, availability, pricing and answering any other questions with goal of setting an appointment here at dealership. We also make outgoing sales and service follow up calls. We use a Customer Relation Management (CRM) computer software system that allows all to be tracked and completed in an organized way.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work in our call-center environment that is managed by the dealership
- Handle around 100 incoming and outgoing phone calls daily
- Prospect follow-up calls, set appointments for sales, and gauge customer satisfaction, reschedule no-shows.
- Contact customers based on current marketing incentives.
- Follow-up with existing and potential customers to generate appointments.
- Follow-up in a manner that results in the customer visiting the dealership.
- Exhibit ethical behavior, provide the highest degree of customer satisfaction and be honest in all aspects of dealing with customers.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous customer service/sales experience preferred.
- High school diploma
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while paying strict attention to detail.
- Positive, outgoing, and energetic personality. Excellent listener.
- Excellent communication skills, writing and typing skills.
- Ability to respond to questions and concerns, and to overcome objections
- Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite
- Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
- Desire to help others and assist them in reaching their goals.
- Call center experience a PLUS!
- Automotive experience a PLUS!
- Internet Sales experience a PLUS!

This position requires work availability on Saturdays and evenings. We are closed on Sundays.
