Survey Technician - Construction Layout Crew

• 5 years Construction layout experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to operate simple surveying instruments and tools, such as level, level rod, and optical prisms.
• Ability to assist survey party chief in recording project data and compiling project notes.
• Ability to set survey points, hubs, and stakes for construction layout with the use of level rod, optical prisms, and other commonly used construction tools.
• Ability to effectively communicate with site crew on construction stakeout performed and provide guidance on required adjustments.
• Must be able to work at elevated heights.
• Extended periods of standing, walking, and lifting of up to 50 Lbs. can be expected with this position.
• Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment.

Salary : $14 - $18
