We are an entrepreneurial Elder Law firm that is on track for aggressive growth, and we need an experienced Estate Planning Paralegal to join or team and work directly with the owners and attorneys to support the team and help our clients.
We want to be known for giving our clients peace of mind knowing that they have a plan in place to cover the unexpected. We are growing fast, and we need an estate planning paralegal who can hit the ground running.
Compensation:$61,000 - $67,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Hold client interviews to gather information about their legal problems
- Take care of administrative tasks such as answering phones and maintaining an organized filing system for all legal documents
- Prepare all aspects of Trust and Estate Planning to be reviewed by our attorneys. This includes Trusts, Last Will & Testaments, Healthcare Proxies, Living Wills, Powers of Attorney and Deeds.
- Collaborate with clients and attorney to determine to implement the best plan for our clients (asset evaluation and tax and long-term care planning)
- Extensive communication with clients, financial planners, and accountants
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
- Talented communicator and writer
- Strong preference for candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have an advanced paralegal education
- Candidates should possess high-level organizational skills, and time-management skills
- Candidates must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree preferred
