POSITION OVERVIEW
Support all plant operations and functions by keeping work areas clean and orderly, raw materials staged in the proper areas, and equipment ready to use.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
30 days
MACHINES, TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED:
1. Standing: Ability to stand while working 95% of day
2. Sitting: Ability to sit down 10% of day
3. Moving: Ability to move throughout plant: 25% of day
4. Lifting: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 25% of day
5. Ascending/Descending: Ability to walk upstairs, climb to top of rail car
(approx. 16 ft) 25% of day
6. Push/Pull/Reach: Ability to push/pull hoses and drums
15% of day
7. Bending: Ability to pick up objects from the floor 25% of day
8. Visual Acuity: Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties,
including reading information from printed sources and
computer screens. 100% of day
9. Cognitive: Alert. Able to make decisions, reason, and understand
information. 100% of day
10. Pulmonary: Ability to work in chemical environment and be properly 100% of day
Fit with full-face respirator
11. Confined Space Entry: Entering/exiting vessels through manways 25% of day
(typically 18 - 24 inch openings) using ladders, harnesses, and/or retrieval equipment; use scraping tools while in vessels.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/SAFETY-SENSITIVE POSITION
This job operates in a manufacturing facility. This position is a safety-sensitive position and regularly works around moving mechanical parts and powered industrial vehicles.
SHIFT/WORK HOURS
Shift schedule will depend on open positions at time of hire and will be communicated with new hire paperwork. Weekends and holidays are scheduled depending on business demands.
