- Evaluate risk, creditworthiness, and repayment ability using financial data and bank statements
- Make timely, accurate funding decisions within company guidelines
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure smooth deal flow
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify potential risk trends
- Train and mentor junior underwriting staff when needed
Qualifications
- 2 years of underwriting experience in merchant cash advance or alternative lending required
- Strong knowledge of MCA deal structures, credit risk, and repayment metrics
- Proficient in analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and bank data
- Excellent decision-making, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
