Duties And Responsibilities
- Wire panels from provided schematics
- Field wire automated systems from provided schematics
- Assemble mechanical components to print
- Perform modifications / fabricate mechanical components
- Debug manufacturing test systems
- Develop and implement modifications to automated systems
- Quote and order electronic and mechanical parts
- Determine electrical wiring configuration (layouts) to meet electrical drawing requirements
- Prioritize and work on multiple projects
- Evaluate, repair, and maintain existing test fixtures
- Communicate with engineers and technicians
- Red line schematics, BOMs and drawings for any changes
- Escalate any concerns or issues to engineers that may negatively affect the machine being built
- Inventory and maintain electrical and mechanical components
- Associate Degree in a technical field (Electrical, Electronic, Automation) or High School Diploma with equivalent years of experience
- Strong organizational, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Able to use hand tools and power tools
- Ability to solder and wire components
- Familiarity with Electrical and Mechanical CAD design software
- Knowledge of mechatronics incorporating hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components
- Basic knowledge of electric circuits
- Hands-on experience fabricating extrusion frames a plus
- Familiarity with NFPA79 or EN 60204-1 wire standards a plus
