POSITION SUMMARY:
Analyze contract sales and calculate all applicable administrative fees. Compile, track, and analyze data for completion of requests for proposals and ad-hoc reporting (proficient Excel skills a must). Ensure contract compliance, accurate pricing, reporting, and maintain up-to-date group membership information. Assist in the preparation, development, and processing of commercial contracts, amendments, and pricing agreements. Maintain contract agreement templates and workflow documentation, and support all policies related to contract activity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create adhoc reports; extract and analyze raw data to provide information requested by sales team, such as customer verification, product and pricing agreements, sales volumes, etc.
- Calculate commercial administration fees
- Research customer pricing discrepancies, as needed
- Assist in the compilation/collection of sales data for requests for information and proposals
- Provide guidance on new customers on pricing, group membership affiliation, class of trade, etc.
- Process, track, and monitor commercial contracts, sales agreements, forms, pricing and consignment agreements, etc. to ensure compliance with contract terms; conduct pricing verifications and membership audits
- Monitor and maintain current group/contract membership lists
- Notify appropriate individuals within the company of new contracts and/or amendments
- Identify and provide input on process improvements to ensure quality, innovation, and efficiency; suggest needed updates/changes on policy and procedural control documents
- Assist in monitoring department shared e-mail to identify new assignments/tasks to be completed
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- BS/BA in related discipline. Certification may be required in some areas.
- 0-2 years of experience in related field, or verifiable ability,OR
- MS/MA/MBA and 0-1 years of experience in related field
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, Vlook ups, filtering, sorting, creating tables, charts, etc.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, etc.)
- Ability to interact with both internal and external customers, with a focus on customer service
- Ability to prioritize and respond with a sense of urgency to all inquiries and request
- Ability to manage time and workload effectively; organized, flexible, and able to multi-task while maintaining a high level of efficiency and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and trouble shooting skills
