Objective
The right candidates will be trained in Manufacturing Operations such as assembly, solder dipping, visual inspection, dimensional measurements, operation of abrasive or laser trimming equipment, electroplating, photolithography, dicing saws, sputtering machines, semi-automatic chip pickers, and the use of furnaces. Partial or full clean room attire, and regular cleaning duties are required.
Requirements
Essential Functions
- Handle small parts with tweezers
- Assemble components and fuse in furnace
- Trinco, welding, and other post assembly functions
4. Visual inspection utilizing a microscope
- Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision
- Read procedures and production travelers in English
- Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor
- Follows prescribed safety regulations for safe handling of chemicals
- Communicate with Engineering and Technicians as needed
- Maintain workspace cleanliness through routine cleaning and good work practices

Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.? The employee may regularly be required to move around or sit or stand at equipment or a microscope for long stretches of time. As some visual inspection duties will also be required. Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Some physical strength and stamina are required for regular cleaning duties.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position Monday – Friday, first and second shifts available.
Travel Occasional travel between our Cranston and North Attleboro locations may be required. MSI will reimburse at the current federal rate per mile.
Required Education and Experience1. Basic computer skills. 2. Sufficient Written and Verbal skills in the English language.
