  • Serve as the Adopt a Highway program administrator.
  • Provide advanced administrative support to various areas within the District.
  • Serve as the web coordinator.
  • Provide back-up to the Front Desk Operator by answering phone calls and greeting the public.
  • Willingly accept additional tasks, special projects, and new assignments and complete them in a timely manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Customer service skills sufficient to provide prompt, courteous and accurate information to internal/external customers in person, on the phone, and through e-mail and other written correspondence.
  • Skill in using business English (spelling, grammar, and punctuation) sufficient to compose and edit a variety of documents and effectively interact with others through oral and written communication.
  • Skill in word processing sufficient to use software, such as Microsoft Word, to create, format, edit, print, and save a variety of documents (e.g., memos, letters, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, etc.).
  • Skill in using spreadsheet software, such as Microsoft Excel, sufficient to create and edit spreadsheets from a variety of sources to track activities and prepare reports.
  • Skill in desktop publishing sufficient to create and maintain webpages.
  • Database management skills sufficient to enter and edit data and run related reports.
  • Typing/keyboarding sufficient to perform skilled typing tasks with speed and accuracy.
  • Math sufficient to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers.
