Schedule:
Hours Available: Monday 5-10, Tuesday 5-10, Thursday 5-10, Friday 5-10, Saturday 10-10 and Sunday 10-10
Essential Functions:
- Supervision of participants in evening and weekend recreation and leisure programming to ensure a positive experience
- Encourage participants to engage and participate in social programming by providing outreach.
- Participate in leading activities, clubs, electives, and excursions
- Provide elective course instruction in the categories around the T.E.A.C.H framework as needed, including subbing for elective instructors as needed
- Educate participants in the surrounding areas of Richfield, Bloomington, and Edina, including ongoing education in public transportation for programming to support independence
- Provide transportation and support for scheduled shuttles to grocery stores, YMCA, etc.
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Special Education, Art Education, Outdoor Recreation, Community Education, occupational Therapy, or equivalent experience is desirable but not required.
- Experience working with adults with learning disabilities is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary.
- A valid Minnesota driver's license in good standing is required.
- Must reside in Minnesota.
