Minutemen OhioComp is currently looking for a Customer Service Representative for our Mansfield office. Minutemen OhioComp is a Managed Care Organization (MCO) that handles handles injured workers' claims. This a Monday-Friday position, dayshift, no weekends/ holidays. Benefits are offered to all full-time employees the following month of hire.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITLIES:
- Collaborates with members of MoD team to submit requests to BWC for return to work corrections, ICD clarifications and Industry Code changes.
- Gathers and analyzes pertinent medical evidence such as claim notes, progress notes, assessments, diagnostic test results, BWC and Industrial Commission orders, etc., to determine accuracy of claim return to work dates, ICD, and Industry Code assignment.
- Makes phone calls to injured workers to discuss current treatment status or concerns regarding claim.
- Recommends claim data corrections and/or further claim resolution considerations such as 90-Day exam or Extend of Disability exam.
- Communicates and collaborates with case manager to facilitate exam requests.
- Reviews weekly and quarterly MoD reports for accuracy of days absent, ICD codes, Industry Codes, status of compensation and exam status.
- Reviews claims with 250-365 days absent on quarterly basis for 90-day or Extent of Disability exam.
- Maintains knowledge of current BWC policy and procedure
- Performs other clerical duties and projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Possesses the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Computer and typing skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
