What are the responsibilities and job description for the Precision Assembler III position at Mirion?
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform complex assembly operations including wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing, and fitting on assembly units.
- Follow established methods and sequences of operations with minimal supervision, ensuring products meet all required specifications and tolerances.
- Conduct go / no-go testing and other quality assurance checks as needed.
- Perform visual inspections of components prior to assembly and conduct self-inspection of completed work.
- Handle delicate components with care, utilizing proper ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) practices.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulatory requirements (including ISO, FDA, and FAA standards where applicable).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Contribute to process improvement teams and provide feedback to enhance operational efficiency.
- Adapt to varying work assignments and provide flexibility to meet team and production goals.
- Lift and / or move up to 40 pounds as needed.
- Work overtime as required to meet production demands.
- Conforms to IPC-620 standards for quality assurance.
