Virtual Construction Specialist

REPORTS TO : Virtual Construction Lead

POSITIONS SUPERVISED : None

TRAVEL REQUIRED : 25%

WORK SCHEDULE : Day Shift

SALARY RANGE : $55k - $85k (based on experience)

POSITION SUMMARY

The virtual construction specialist will assist senior VC members in all aspects of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and VC software while maintaining VC best practices.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Represents the company's VC capabilities by participating in presentations and interviews with clients and industry groups.
• Advises on, trains, and implements VC services for office and project teams including, but not limited to, asset management, quantity take-offs utilizing the model, BIM coordination, document and model management, 3D modeling, and reality capture.
• Assists in the creation and implementation of consistent VC processes that ensure successful project hand-off to other VC groups.
• Supports the director, construction innovation in research and development of new software and BIM processes.
• Conducts risk mitigation and conflict resolution on all VC projects.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
