Job Summary and Qualifications
Job Summary :
Supervises and oversees the safe and efficient operations and maintenance for Mission Hospital. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and works in collaboration with all hospital areas involved in the environment of care. Assures competency of all personnel. Assists with the budget preparation. Maintains efficient and effective department operations while maintaining compliance with all accreditation, state, federal and local regulatory requirements. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
What qualifications you will need :
Required Education : Associate Degree in related field or equivalent experience
Preferred Education : Bachelors Degree in a related field
Required License : Must have a valid NC drivers license or procure one within 30 days of employment unless an out of state commuter, at least 2 years of satisfactory driving experience and be at least 21 years of age to meet the Mission health established insurance guidelines.
Required Experience : 3 years of technical and supervisory experience in area. Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, Internet and Intranet software, e-mail.
Preferred Experience : 10 years healthcare facility / plan engineering and maintenance supervision, database software.
