Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Include the following:
- Operate the knuckle-boom truck at a skilled level to remove citizen generated or storm related debris.
- Operate a backhoe or end loader to remove debris.
- Operate machinery (listed above) at a skilled level to load debris trucks safely for transport and disposal.
- Must use extreme caution while working in the vicinity of overhead utility lines and overhanging tree branches.
- Loads and transports pipe and other equipment in the bed of the knuckle-boom truck.
- Operate a chain saw safely in a variety of situations such as storms and storm related weather.
- Be able to follow written and oral instructions to follow the daily routing plan.
- Other duties may be assigned.
